Happy Halloween fellow Bloggers!
I wanted to share my latest and greatest DIY craft.
I made a canvas and burlap garland out of a strand of Halloween lights
I bought at BigLots for about 3 bucks!
I tore several strands of burlap and canvas,
then tied each strip to the wire of the light strand by simply
tying a couple of knots.
A cute and cottage-y touch for the Halloween Holiday.
I found a package of Halloween silhouettes for only a dollar
at the Dollar Tree. I love a good find for so little dough!
I found this little pail at a thrift store for $2,
then I print off a "3" and used ModPodge
to adhere it to the pail.
Most of what you see here was purchased at estate sales,
garage sales, thrift stores, and a couple items were
found at discount stores like Hobby Lobby (one of my favorites!)
and TJ Maxx.
My Husband found this antique wooden bread box
at an estate sale, it now holds napkins, blue Ball
jar full of plastic silverware, and a lidded blue Ball jar full of sugar.
The green bread box was a free find at a garage sale,
the best part was it matches these tins given to me
by my grandmother!
My son had fun helping me pick out some creepy crawlies
to decorate the spider webs with! He is just at the age now
that he is looking forward to dressing up and decorating for Halloween!
The aqua wire basket and most of the pretty plates
were treasures I found at antique stores.
These keys go to an armoir that was given to us
when we moved into our home.
I love the vintage-y look of them tied to another thrift store find.
All of these pictures were taken by my
very good friend Tara Key with Key Photography.
Thank you Tara!!
